JOHNSTOWN — The third and final day of the Major League Baseball Draft is complete.
Three players with ties to west-central Pennsylvania got drafted.
The Pittsburgh Pirates selected Ferndale High School graduate Trey McGough in the 24th round. McGough is a left-handed pitcher. He played three seasons at Mount St. Mary's, during his college career.
Another Pennsylvania organization drafted a local product.
The Philadelphia Phillies selected Central Cambria graduate Tyler Adams in the 27th round. Adams is a left-handed pitcher. He spent three seasons, playing for the IUP baseball program.
Lastly, the Baltimore Orioles picked DuBois Central Catholic's Justin Miknis in the 35th round. Miknis is a catcher.
